I noticed racing was halted for the day last night when the wind kicked up while a Super Gas wreck was being cleaned up?????
Did the wind suddenly just start blowing then?

It does and did. Wind can pick up about 20 mph anytime and then 10 minutes later it`s calm. Ten minutes later it comes from the other direction.

The unfortunate soul that ended up with a wrecked race car posted that "everybody was skating around" prior to his mishap.
That's why my question about the wind. There had to be a reason to halt racing other then "the track was greasy!"

The driver right in front of him had to abort his run. The driver go out of shape in an area where wind is not normally an issue at 1/8 mile.
