Throttle stop ?
Going to drive a friends dragster he just bought, it has a bimba single air cylinder that is hooked up as a starting line throttle control. Can I use that as a throttle stop by moving the wire to a timer on the pro cube?

Make sure that you have a solid gas pedal stop or it will not work predictably. If your interested in trying Super Comp racing I would suggest that you consider racing with the Midwest Super Comp Series . You do not need to be a member to race with us. We. Usually have two races per weekend and since we are a racer run organization our pay out is better than the NHRA division or bracket races. If you have any questions you can go to our web site: http://www.midwestsupercomp.com/index.html Or contact me.:) Greatbaer@sbcglobal.net (815) 458-3178 |
Re: Throttle stop ?
Thanks Bill, yes it does have a solid pedal stop on it. Funny you should mention your series. A friend of mine that went with me to get licensed Saturday runs S/G and run S/C at one of your races and said he had a lot of fun. On our way home we were talking about going to some of your races. I will check your scheldule. You guys take it easy on me I will be a newbie to S/C.
