The racing community lost a hero yesterday 8/29/2013
It is with heavy hearts that we must inform you that we lost Tracy Winters from J.W. Performance this week. Our prayers go out to John, Helen, John Jr., Tracy's daughter and the entire staff at J.W.PT.
Tracy was a loving, giving, and caring person with a big heart. As a respected contributor to the Automotive Aftermarket industry, she dedicated her life to working behind the scenes in Drag Racing through helping out racers in-need and accomplished more good than we will ever know. We have had the privilege of knowing the Winters family for over 30 years and love them like family. We share their hurting and suffer there loss. All we can say at this most unfortunate time is; Tracy, we will miss you and never forget the kind and loving person that you where…God Bless! Rest in peace my friend, Steve Coccaro, Mike Fabian & Carl Robinson |

I saw a posting this morning and was praying it was not true. I saw her grow up at the race track, dig in to make their company a leader, and worked with her on some SEMA projects. Never saw her when she didn't have a smile or a good word. She earned her "status" with the racing community.

Please accept my deepest condolences to the Winter's Family. I had the pleasure of working with Tracey when I was at BCI Performance, Atlanta Georgia and Impact Racing. My thoughts and prayers are with her family and especially her daughter which she always talked so fondly of. May your memories of Tracey live forever in your hearts. Please find comfort that your racing family is praying for ya'll.
