Indy tribute for Terry Pearson
It would be nice if one of the stock/super stock racers could organize a tribute to Terry Pearson during the first round of stock and super stock at Indy. Indy was a special place for Terry. Maybe just a black stripe thru the drivers number on the side window. Something simple.
Terry was the epitome of class racers. There was no harder working guy out there. He was always tying to get that extra 1 HP or that extra .001. His cars were always well prepared and usually the fastest in his class. He lived, slept and breathed class racing. He was soft spoken but was a tough competitor. Terry will be missed. We have the same last name but are not related. Terry was a good friend. |

Re: Indy tribute for Terry Pearson
It's been along time since I've raced but when I started Terry helped me. He told me what to do ( so I wouldn't stage the back tires or something else dumb), helped me with the car and encouraged me when things didn't go so well when I first started. I bought several cars from Terry because I knew they would be good safe cars and would be fun to race. Terry was always working on his car trying to get every hundredth out of it. We lost a great class racer and mostly I have lost my friend.
