Centerlines & radial slicks....
 
Centerline R/T wheels are stamped "bias tires only"....Anybody try radials on them or...

Maybe the warning is for street use...I'll call them anyway....

Centerline cleared it up....These are the common "Auto/Drag" series...with the rivets...

Early production wheels were "drag racing only"....later a change was made so the rims
became DOT-compliant...and could be used on the street...with radial or bias tires...

ALL Auto/Drag series...no matter how old....can be run at the drags...with radial slicks...
and no problems...as many have...over the years...


Hard to believe these wheels have been around for 35+ years...and are still being made
today!

Think mine have a 1979 production date....

Thanks for posting that.
I love the looks of polished Auto Drags.
I had some 8.5 inch rears widened to 10 inch a few years back. (in the pic)
Those are classics for any of the 80's cars.
