Help with front suspension
I am building a 67 Mustang Coupe bracket car. It will have cal-tracs on the rear.
Looking for any hints/help with the front suspension i know stockers have very good working suspensions. Anything that could help i would appreciate, try to get the car to transfer weight as good as possible. will be running a small block. |

If you are not yanking the wheels off the ground. Good top grade rebuild part and a front drag shock work well. Would brace the Shock Towers. IF you are pulling hard wheelies contact CalTrac or go on Mustang blogs to counter the return to earth. ON hard landings the Mustang front ends tires will camber and toe out shaking a bit until the front end settles. View the Stocker races when the Mustang Stockers launch. You will see what I mean.. Re: Help with front suspension
Contact Alex Denysenko at MoneyMaker Racing in Indiana....a Caltracs dealer, SBF Super Stock and Stock competitor and just an all round good guy. He will "set you up". :)

Re: Help with front suspension
x2 on Alex.
You can look at the FoMoCo front end stuff at http://www.opentrackerracingproducts.com/ They have all rollerized front end stuff that will make the thing amazingly loose. Need good shocks to go with that stuff. |
