Odds and Ends to keep handy

Curious as to what all everyone keeps in their trailers as far as the fail safes for things they know will break/go bad. I.E different gaskets, filters, etc? Trying to get stocked up for this next year and crossed my mind that I may be missing something easy.

Extra lug nuts and studs - not only for the car - but the truck and trailer too.

Wire, connectors, electrical tape, bulbs and fuses.

Spare tire and jack for the trailer... A typical floor jack will not cut it on a enclosed trailer. I have seen that.

Magnet (telescoping), mirror, extra surgical gloves, extra roll of toilet paper (hey you never know), car duster, quick detail wax, microfiber towels (may not be the fastest but it will look good) along with what everyone else said above.

I carry about every spare I have except the spare motor, I carry gaskets plugs ,oil trans fluid, flex plate, starters, alternator, transmission, torque converter, battery, battery cables, control cables, spare pilot chute, spare fuel pump, rod ends, spare fuel tank cap,AN hardware. Rocker arms , pushrods, valve springs, oil filter, spare alternator, air pump anf fuel pump belts. I also carry thee different kinds of epoxy, silicone, sealers, thread lockers etc.
I usually race >100 mi. From home and usually two days so I try to bring any thing, tools and parts, that I can to assure that a minor problem could not end my weekend .
The way I look at it spares are of little use back home in the garage.
I don't bring the spare motor because I would also need to bring a porta crane too and together they would add close to 1000# to the trailer and there is only so much stuff you can fit in a 32' trailer that already has a dragster, a jr. Dragster and a golf cart in it. :)
(If I had the room and enough generator I would carry a small TIG welder but alas 3000 watts is just not enough juice to support one.)

A long time ago when we raced at Firebird in Boise on the tow home we stopped at a gas station for fuel....

Out of the darkness, at midnight, came what we thought was Bigfoot, but was only a fellow drag racer on the way home.....

The question he asked was "Did we have any trailer wheel bearings??"

My answer was that we didn't, but we would have in the future.........

From that day on we always carried spare wheel bearings, drum, electric activator, cotter pins and all the other stuff to do a roadside repair at 2:00AM on the road and 500 miles from home....

We also carry a Trailer Buddy for lifting the trailer wheel off the ground..

Bob

PS:
We carried all that stuff around for years and never needed it....maybe because we had it, we never had to use it??????????????????

For trailer tire change I carried many wooden blocks which I drove the trailer up on to hang the flat tire in the open for changing. Electric Ratchet to remove lug nuts. Air source or tank.
