If you want something fairly lightweight, I've used Braille B3121 batteries (21 lbs.) with good luck. I try to swap batteries every 3-4 yrs.

I've used the oddesy batteries with never an issue. Finally replaced it this year only because it was 5 years old. Never let me down.

I also have had good luck with the Odyssey batteries. We use two of the 925's.

Optima yellow top any good for drag racing ? I saw one in the Fletch's stocker wagon @ Indy.

Optima yellow tops work great since they are a deep cycle battery. However, you also need a charger made for this type of battery. Sears makes one and I think Optima also has one.

I've run an Optima yellow top for years. One of the best batteries I've tried, albeit somewhat heavy. It may have been wrong, but I always used a standard charger on it. Never had a problem.

Likely referring to a slow charge on 2 amp or similar ?
