ujoint pinion strap style question..

My 8.5 10 bolt in my nova has the metal straps and not the u bolt style ujoint retaining method.. Would you spend the money to switch to moser pinion yoke that would allow me to use 1350 style ujoint with U style retainer? I have been changing the straps every couple years I recently made car faster and it leaves alot more aggressive just trying to "bullet proof" it..

Automatic, I assume? Trans brake?
Those OEM straps and bolts are pretty strong.. I'd use original ,used , before I'd use new "Help" line stuff.
I've never seen them break in and of themselves.
1350 joints and flange should use 3/8ths U bolts..so it is an upgrade..
It's only money...Up to you , but I doubt you'll need them on an 8.5 automatic car
