Rochester Carb application by number
Does anyone know of a website that has Rochester carb numbers (both 2 and 4 barrel) that show you which vehicles it may have come on from the factory? I have a bunch of cores and want to make notes to attach with each carb before they go into boxes for temporary storage. Where exactly do they measure for carb size? I have never seen this done before and was curious.

Re: Rochester Carb application by number
Alan and Mark I really appreciate your replies. Mike, I sent you a PM with info. I have one carb in particular that I am having a hard time gathering any reliable info on. Conflicting info is what I have so far. I need to measure this one and compare it to what NHRA lists in the engine blueprint specs. The link below shows some info, for this particular carb, that I think is bogus. With some type of documentation that can be relied upon after measuring, I believe that I can use this carb for an engine that I am building. I plan on doing the carb myself and see if I can make it run or make it scrap. Time will tell.
Thanks again everybody |
