Crank Triger Wire
To the wire guys,
how would you route the crank trigger wire, over the top of the engine under the intake to the crank, or on the inner fender to the crank???? Would there be an advantage fender over engine??? Comments would be appreciated. Thanks, Bob Lasko |
Re: Crank Triger Wire
I found it easiest along the fender , out of the way , more room through the firewall had to extend the wire about 4 ' to box in the backseat---Trevor

Re: Crank Triger Wire
Make sure you keep it away from water pump or alternator wires.

Re: Crank Triger Wire
Was told not to run the wire along side of anything that was hooked to electric motor unless it was shielded. Tom

Also only ground one end of the shielding. If you ground both ends you will make it a EMI antenna.

Re: Crank Triger Wire
Bob, run the crank trigger separate from all other wires you'll be much happier for it.
