Another weight question.
 

I may be adding/adjusting weight to my car (1978 I/S Camaro ). From the "weight" threads I reviewed, the common location seems to be over the rear axle.
My question is, would you divide up the weight to go over each side equally, or all weight on one side, or more weight on one side than the other?I have a weight box to "fine tune" my weight for various scales.

terry - At your hp levels I don't think it will make much difference where the weight is placed. Most will be centered or favoring the passenger side.

If you can get access to a set of scales that weigh the corners of your car, you will be much better equipped to decide where the weight "needs" to be........AND be prepared to make adjustments based upon actual performance.

Unless you're having wheelstand issues, you can't go wrong with a big bar of lead as far back over the rear bumper as you can get it. More = better.
