DRC has been having some issues lately, Byron. Theres a whole thread about it on here, somewhere,,,, sounds like there might be reduced coverage or possibly pulling the plug on it in the future.

They will have live reporters at Lucas oil division races and nhra national events.

Actually, Larry Sullivan indicated on the other thread that they are seeking sponsorship for live reporters at the Divisionals but will be doing end of day reports....here's exactly what he posted.

"DragRaceCentral reporters will continue to be at all NHRA National events and right now will be doing qualifying and elimination reports at the end of each day of Lucas Oil Drag Racing Series events.

"We are currently seeking additional sponsorship to have reporters at each Lucas Oil Drag Racing Series event.

Summit Racing Equipment has been our primary sponsor for the past 15 years and will continue in that capacity for at least one more season. They have also been strong supporters of Sportsman racing for as long as I can remember (and in my case, that's a really, really long time) and I expect that support will continue way into the future, regardless of what happens with DragRaceCentral."

How much would it be to sponsor the Division 1 LODRS races for live DRC reports?

My guess is well over $10K. There's a great deal of expense in travel, hotels, man-hours, intellectual property, and advertising value -- and my guestimate is only based on the first three of those, so $15-20K wouldn't surprise me. I'm sure you could contact them and ask for actual numbers.
