Super Stock Car for Orlando
 

Just got the engine back from being freshened and we were testing our new merge collectors before Orlando, and the engine let go on the second pass. We believe it dropped a valve. We know the piston hit the spark plug, water was dripping from both headers, and the engine is locked up. The good thing is the collectors picked it up 2 hundredths in the 60' and between 4-5 in the 1/8th. At this point we are pulling the engine out to try and get it fixed before next weekend. If anyone has a car that would possibly be available next weekend for the Divisional in Orlando please let me know. My number is (706) 831-1416.

Just found the head of a valve underneath the carburetor.

Hi Jake I would have helped you out. But I need ca bearing in my trans that won't be in till after the 10. I''l be ready for Valdosta "I hope".
