Fastest "fake" Buick and Pontiac???
With the recent talk of the "real" versions I'm curious about the fastest "fake" versions of these cars in stock and superstock. :)

First guess without research...John Clegg went 7.96 If I remember with his SSAM Pontiac.

Re: Fastest "fake" Buick and Pontiac???
I would imagine that Gallina is the fastest "fake" Buick also in the 7.9's.
I'm beginning to see a pattern here. :) |
Re: Fastest "fake" Buick and Pontiac???
I guess I'm not following you, Carey. Wasn't Gallina's block a original Buick V-6? At least I thought it was. I didn't know there was an aftermarket block available,,, please educate me. Thanks for any info.

Yes Galina's Buick was real Buick motor but I believe insted of single it was twin turbo. TA now makes billet evrything for V6 just not back then.

Thats what I was thinking, Chuck. I was pretty sure the aftermarket hadn/t yet got in on the action in '02-'04 for Buick blocks, about the time John Gallina ran the 7.98, but I see what you mean about the turbos. Thanks.
