Why we aren't at SGMP
We expected to be there and are very sorry to miss the SGMP LODRS event. SGMP is just about our favorite track to race and socialize at. But, our main crew chief person, Tommy Smith, had to undergo a operation for colon cancer on Friday. Couldn't leave him here with that while we were having a great time out of town.
The good news is that Tommy's operation seems to have been very successful and after some pain and blood pressure issues are resolved he may receive some visitors. We hope a few more days in the hospital and about a month of radiation treatments will get Tommy back on his feet again. Good luck to everyone. |

Carl, please let Tommy know that he's in our prayers! I had a wonderful time "bench-racing" with him and you at Piedmont last year, and hope to be able to do it again sometime really soon!
