Preferred Battery
 
Looking for some feedback on what 16-volt battery is preferred. I only run one battery and don't run an alternator. Any help would be appreciated.

I have used Turbo Start 16v battery for the last 3 years with no problems, I am ordering another battery for a friends SST car. Battery $235, Charger $225.

Richard,

Do you run the lightweight (32lb.) Turbo Start battery or the 42lb. one? I see they are both "race" batteries. Should I go with the one that has the higher reserve capacity being that I don't run an alternator?
