Live from the IHRA Richmond Div1 race
 

We made the short trip from Southern MD to Richmond pulling in around 12:30. There's a good amount of cars here already and a steady stream rolling through the gates. The weather started out good but it just started to sprinkle (3:00PM). Tech is open for business and the weekend weather is looking good so come on down.

Well the TNT is done for the day. Strong storms rolling through Richmond 60 MPH wind gusts. Everyone hold on.

What a difference a day makes. The sun is out and its going to be a great day for a race(come on down). We dodged the wind yesterday and only got rain. I believe the schedule is to start at 9 with HR. I'll get out and get some photos of todays action. (its race day)come on down.

The weather here is great 540 ft correction. Dialing off of VMP and was 023, 7.03 I'll take it. I heard some of the faster stockers having trouble getting down the track.

Well, 001 red in the 2nd round, glad this is a double race. How about John Dustin doubling up in HR and QR great job, congrats to Glenn Grinstead on his RU in HR. Congrats also to Richard Preaser on his win in SS.

1st round RU. I ran yesterdays HR & QR winner John Dustin he was 013 I was 025 he was 7.001 I was 6.994. I think I need a Triple race. We did have 1 on track accident TS drive Johnny Burch crashed his Vega panel wagon, Johnny is OK the car not so good.
