"Stat of the Week"

After 7 years last year Justin Lamb & Robbie Massey made the first "perfect run" in eliminations in either SS or Stock, well we didn't have to wait another seven years as at Dallas event it was done by Slate Cummings in the 3rd round. His opponent had a .004 reaction time and was .005 off his dial. That’s a perfect package for the win against a .009 package for the loss. Congratulations Slate

43 B/SA Slate Cummings 0.000 10.50 10.500 122.67
411 D/SA Jared Swinehart 0.004 10.97 10.975 120.44

What a great race!

I bet a few of us on here - can tell of our .00 something package that lost -- to put it in urban lingo - "that sucks"

Said another way "Donnie frame that time slip" it will be a collector item someday

I'm glad somebody other than me noticed Slate's perfect run. That run got him in the finals because he had a competition bye in the quarterfinals and a true bye in the semifinals, but then he ran into the Austin Williams steamroller.

I've seen a lot of runs, but I doubt I'd have to take my shoes off to count the perfect runs.

I believe my opponent was the Kyle Bros Pontiac Firebird? Don't remember
his exact package other than it was competitive. Do remember feeling good
(.000/.000) and bad in the realization that it seemed somewhat unfair to the other driver. But not for very long! Best package paid $500.00:) and made it to the last 5 cars. Thanks Denysenkos:rolleyes:

Last year at the Salt Lake City, UT divisional Justin Lamb had a perfect run against me in the semi final.

Did it once *with* a Stocker, but it was the semis of a gamblers race at the Bracket Finals, 8th or 9th round, about 2:30am. Windows fogged up, took .08 stripe. Horrible! LOL Happy accident.
