5th Annual Sportsman Circuit Shootout @ Maple Grove
Here is your info for the Mid Atlantic .90 Association @ Maple Grove (May 17th & 18th). Mostly everything is the same as it always is with them. They do have a new policy for Friday nights. If a racer is not running the Friday night program, they must purchase a crew pass for everyone in the vehicle for Saturday. The driver would turn the ticket in on Saturday morning and get credit of $15 towards the tech card purchase. They will be doing this from 4P until 9P on Friday the 16th (I'm sure we'll have a group of racers waiting at the gate till 9pm...haha). This is MG rules so please take this up with them if you have an issue.
The gate for driver will be $35.00 and $70.00 at my trailer to sign up to race. Gates open will open both days at 8AM with time trails starting at 9AM. We will be running with the Money Trail Bracket Series both days so for those of you who want to put some runs on your cars here is your chance as you have up to 4 races to enter that weekend. As far as leaving your rigs for the LODRS the following weekend. Lex told me we can but, down near the garage area, but we might be able to accommodate and put you in the pit space for the LODRS but, we’ll have to wait to see if we can do this. Run Order for both days will be: Trophy Street Juniors Pro Super Top Bike Super Street Super Comp Time and License Super Gas Best I can do to split up the guys who might be running Comp & Gas. Just hope they get a few Time and License Cars that day. Hope to see you all at the track as nothing else is really going on locally. Outlaws at Atco all weekend, Imports at Cecil and then the normal Bracket deal for E-Town on Sunday. Of course we are up against some bigger competition with the Norwalk D3 Race, Atlanta National Event, Spring Flings in Bristol, Rockingham IHRA Event & NHRA Open at Epping. So it will be a jammed packed weekend full of racing where ever you call home but, hopefully you will call Maple Grove your place of residence for the weekend of May 17th to 18th and if not good luck to all the competitors during that weekend. |

When you arrive at the track and get set-up and parked. First off just be aware of some of the reserved spots that are located closer to the staging lanes for the local Maple Grove guys and girls that bracket race on a normal basis.
Also please be aware of the banner that will be hanging off of the back of my trailer. This is where you need to go register for the days event. Please be paid before the 2nd time shot or you will not be included onto the ladder. All drivers will receive a dot that they will place on their roll bars or middle windshields to let me know that you are registered and paid. Without this Dot showing we look at this as not being registered. |
Re: 5th Annual Sportsman Circuit Shootout @ Maple Grove
Well the weather man is saying a 100% chance of rain on Friday, so we may need a paddle boat for Friday to get in but, the rest of the weekend looks great for race #3 & 4 of the 2014 Season. If rain does force postponement of the Friday Night Test & Tune / Street program at Maple Grove the gates will be closed so we will have to stack outside the gate and wait till 8am for the gates to open on Saturday. Just giving everyone a heads-up in case you show up and the gates are closed. Hope to see you all there!
