Another 305 stocker Question
 

Another question. I am just double checking all the numbers, I trust the guy I got it from, but I feel better knowing that I checked and verified myself that the numbers are right. I checked the heads and they are correct but the intake casting number I can't find if it's correct. The number stamped behind the carb on the intake is 14101074. It is not in the classification guide but internet search does show 82-92 Camaro. Anybody get an idea?

I'm not familiar with 074. As far as I know just about everyone runs the 053 or 055 on 305's. I think I've still got an aluminum one in the garage that Jeff Stealy prepped about 5 years ago.

If it's not in the guide it's technically not legal. However, you may be able to get it approved.

The 055 and 053 are in the guide. I use an 055 as the aluminum manifold (053) doesn't seem to make the power of the cast iron manifold. Good luck and PM me if you have any questions.
