#2975 Vic Jr
Wondering if anyone knew the differences in what some called the old style victor jr (sbc #2975) and the new style. Seen pics of victor jr's with only 4 base holes for larger carbs and some with 8 base holes for smaller and larger carbs. I called edelbrock and the rep I spoke with seemed clueless. Assuming most ss applications prior to porting and runner work are using what folks are calling the new style. thanks

Re: #2975 Vic Jr
I don't know about the different carb mounting holes. But I do know the first version of that intake has larger intake runners than Todays intake. One way to tell if you have the older intake, look at the runners. The older intake has a ditch separating the runners. Todays intake is flat between the runners and has a smaller cross section.

Ron, thanks for the info. I had heard about the old and new style, but did not know the differences.
