Thinking about buying a Cobra Jet Have some questions
I'm just getting back into racing after about 10 years away. I sold my business so now I have time and to play. Really want to buy a cobra jet. But not sure if I want to start with a low 9 second car. What are the NA motor combo's you can run in these car's ? I was poking around on the net and came across a guy named Robert Hindman he has a cobra jet with a coyote motor in it. I would be interested in a combo like his. I heard that car runs mid 10s. Please give as much input as you can. Thanks

I have a 2014 for sale in the classified section. I've raced them for several years and will be more than happy to answer any questions.....

Steven's is a very nice, very fast car. I love those Mustangs, and if I decided to buy one it would be Steven's. If your serious, you really need to look at that one.

Not looking for opinions on what car I should buy. Looking for information on the different motor combos.

Cobra jet 5.0 if I'm not mistaken Stephen offered to talk and explain them to you. I'd give him a call. After you could determine if his was for you. As he has knowledge on the different combos being involved with them for some years. Best luck on your decision when you iron it out and get your own.

Re: Thinking about buying a Cobra Jet Have some questions
Up near the top of this page is a link to Nhra Competition, press that, then on the left side of the page that comes up, look for stock car classification, then you can go to 2008 to 2014 ford engine -mustang cobra jet combinations. George Wright and Jimmy Ronzello built Roberts car and you can find pictures at 9500rpm.com under shop projects.

Re: Thinking about buying a Cobra Jet Have some questions
The naturally aspirated combination is really good. Ford only built three of them in 2013. I'm not sure if any of the 2014 cars were built that way.
