Future S/SS Racer?
 

Check out Champion Sparkplugs Search for a Champion Sponsorship program. Racers are competing for sponsorships. Part of it is total votes. There is a young lady here in SD that is entered, Carly Jo Ellingson. Check her entry on the site. She has been quite successful coming up through the JR ranks. She wants to be a professional racer. I think she would do quite well for someone in one of the new FS cars. You can vote everyday up to Feb 3rd. She deserves a a shot.

After Feb 3rd, the top 15 will compete for the Grand Prize. Voting for them will then run until Mar 3rd.

Lets make this young ladies wish come true!

Carly Jo is doing well in the Search for a Champion contest! 4th overall and 3rd in the asphalt division and 1st amongst the drag racers.

Update. The last day of voting is today, Feb 3rd, for the 1st round.

My previous post had some incorrect information. Champion will announce the top 15 on Feb 17th. Voting for the Grand Champion will start on the 24th and run through Mar 24th. The overall winner will be announced on Mar 31st.

Carly Jo is sitting in 3rd. She has been as high as 1st.

Thanks again for the support! She has a good chance of making the top 15, and then.......

Carly Jo made it through!!!! She is one of the top 15, now receives a $5,000 sponsorship from Champion!

Thanks for the compliment, Doug. But, I was just one of many that were involved in her quest.

The best part of the whole deal is being able to see someone have the chance to pursue their dream. A little determination can bring some really good results!
