Best class for 1972 olds cutlass

New build and I know there are several engines offered for 72 350 and a high compression 350 also a 455. Any help on what would be best engine choice to go with.

350/200 rated @ 254hp auto, very good combo K/SA

George Thomson is very fast with a 455 in G/SA out
here in Div. 7. I got real familiar with what the back of
a Cutlass looks like when I ran G/SA
