DA shock setting

I was looking at putting a set of QA1 DA rear shocks on my B/S torino and was looking for a good starting point for the adjustments. It looks like you would want a little softer extension than compression. But I am just getting started. Just let me know what you think Thanks Jerry

Put the double adjustable shocks on the front. That will help the most. I doubt that you will see any improvement by putting DA's in the back. especially if your car is working good to start with.

Last year I was having trouble getting ahold of the track, had put a new motor that makes more hp and it is lighter. Had a 3.19 low gear last year, this year I put a 2.93 and thought maybe shocks would help.

With an automatic, shocks from Sears in the back will be ok. If your running a stick a DA shock in the back is a good investment. I have DA's in the back of my auto, I see the difference how the back end works on video's I have taken with my camera.

Start with the compression setting tighter than the extension, then adjust to your liking on how the car lands. Might want to have somebody take a video of the launch. Then you can see what goes on.
