Buckeye S/SS Race 2 June 27th Itenary
 

OK racers, this weekend we will be at Kil Kare Dragway in Xenia, OH. The plan is as follows:

Gates open at 10am Saturday morning. Time runs will start at 10:45am with Jr. Dragsters. The run order for the day will be Pro, Super Pro, Pro Bike, Sportsman, Buckeye Stock and Super Stock and UMTR Quick Stick and Street Stick. If we had to pin a time down for the first session qualifier for the Buckeye S/SS cars, it would be 1:30pm give or take a few. And our second session would be hopefully at 3:30-4:00pm. As you well know schedules sometimes get adjusted and will do our best to keep things in line time wise.

I have been watching the weather for Saturday and there is a 60% chance of rain (which means there is a 40% chance of no rain). As the day progresses the chance of rain lessens considerably, so I feel good about the race for Saturday.

Also the track is running a Pro/NO Box race Friday. Gates open at 5PM and racers will be on the track by 5:30 with a single time run followed by first round. It pays $1000 to win along with going back to the 1/8's with money. Entry fee is $50 and buybacks are available as well.

Also, I've seen where the Memorial race for Richard Doane and Dave Layer at Kanawah Valley has been put off because of rain in the forecast for that area. Now you don't need to be on the fence as to where to race if you were undecided.
