Accuracy of Hagerty.com Muscelcar prices
Are the values given by hagerty.com accurate for muscelcar prices?
I'm considering purchasing a 1970 Coronet R/T originally with a 440 4bbl that currently has a six pack set-up instead? It's a nice car and I know couldn't be duplicated for his asking price. Anyone have any experience with this the accuracy of hagerty.com? |
Re: Accuracy of Hagerty.com Muscelcar prices
Personally, I think they're a bit on the high side. Either that, or most owners grossly overestimate the condition of their cars. I consider my '70 Road Runner to be a very solid No. 2 car, and Hagerty says it should be worth $44,100. I'd sell it for that without hesitation. So, either my car is really somewhere between 2 and 3 (I don't think so), or the prices are significantly overstated.

Chris, the NADA Guide has a guide for muscle cars.
Find a friendly dealer like Jeff Teuton that may have access to this particular guide. http://www.nadaguides.com/Classic-Cars |

Thank you. Tried to buy it today, but owner has very unrealistic expectations what his car is worth.

How much he want for that car? Also I think my son Frank is going to sell that 69 Coronet R/T Convertible we picked up in Indy a couple of years ago. Interest?
