Any idea how the 396/325 got 5hp? I didn't think it was triggered and I thought Englishtown was a mine-shaft rule race. I see Steve Sawka went -.97 in qualifying at the Virginia divisional. He lost first round and results are not posted on DRC. Maybe he triggered it in round 1.

I'm not 100% sure, but I believe the triggers still count at mineshaft races. They use none of the numbers for the average, but the trigger still counts.

In Boise Alan Messer ran a second under but that was with a stick car.

From the Lucas Oil Website:

"If at the conclusion of qualifying the first competitor in the bottom half of the field is -.850 seconds or more under the class index, the Q and E Data will not be used for the mid-year and year end reviews. This will only apply to qualified fields of 32 or more cars."

I guess you are right Hidalgo. I did it to myself!

Did anyone else here that the horsepower was going to be adjusted once a year? I was told before Chicago that the adjustments were going to be made once a year at the end of the year.

That's for the manual trans LT1 cars.
