Well we are not quite in bowling green yet. We should be there by around eight or so this evening. More after we get there! Can't wait for all the excitement that comes with Bowling Green and getting ready for Indy!

I definitely miss running at Bowling Green. The trip is just right length and track is history. Grandstands are good part of park...

I've been working on mine like a wild man and spending money like I'm drunk. Hoping to get a little faster. And I got derailed by my Pharmacy. They decided to give me a anticoagulant instead of one of my blood pressure medicines. Looks like I'll miss this one. Hopefully I'm cleared to get back at it soon. I was looking forward to it.

Div 3 has decided to open tech a few hours earlier on Thursday. Tech will be in the staging lanes starting at 10 AM.

We pulled in and parked about 8 tonight. It gets darker earlier now, already dark when we got here. I don't know if they are going to be open all night tonight, but there are lots here already. Looked like the pavement by the river is all full, as is the pavement right across from staging. We are parked in our usual spot next to the Louisiana bunch at the finish line. There is lots of parking in the grass on back here on the right as you come in. The ground seems to be pretty firm, too.


Well, more tomorrow when I can get out and see who all is here!!

It is a beautiful morning here at Beech Bend!! Temp is about 60 going up to 83 later this afternoon. Tech begins in about 35 minutes, then test and tune at noon. With the track only charging $50 to test, I expect to see lots of people getting ready for Indy today.

Rob, I know the feeling. We've pulled the plug on the entire year. Hoping for a solid return next year for both Kevin and myself. Kevin with a new engine, and with some luck, I'll be driving in Stock in my own ride as well. I'm hoping to be at Bowling Green Saturday to help my friend Jim Blenkarn in Super Comp. And maybe go up to Indy for a day or two next week.

Patsy, thank you for all the reporting, especially as we head into Indy week. I miss attending that race, have a lot of good memories there. Your posts make me feel like I'm there! Best of luck these next two weeks!
