Innovate Motorsports Wide-band O2 Data System

Has anyone had any experience with the Innovate Motorsports line of Wide-band O2 sensor Data Systems? I'm looking to install a system in the 'wagon to be able to capture A/F-ratio's and other performance data as a tuning aid. The Innovate system seems to be both expandable and flexible enough to accomplish what I'm after, but I'd welcome any suggestions y'all may have on installation and ease of use.

Thanks in advance for your help!

I have a Innovate LM-2. I would not buy another based on my experience. I've heard others mention Daytona Sensors. Please post what you find out.

I also have the LM-2, and have been very happy with it. What problems have you experienced with yours? Who's wideband 02 would you recommend?

2 issues. One, it records about half the runs, it uses a SD card which I've replaced. Two, the RPM trace flat lines at 2K. I've hooked up the lead for the RPM to the coil, then to an injector. No difference. Innovates "fix" is to add a potentiometer to the lead, I've tried that several times. I haven't picked out another one yet.

I am still using the older LM-1 to monitor one of the collectors and maybe once every 4-5 runs it loses RPM signal around midtrack but the O2 will still read. I thought maybe it was a bad ground or something. Frank Ferrucci helped me out with this unit and it has made a world of difference as I found a quick and consistent AF ratio with it.

I have an Innovate LM2 (single o2) for my car Ive had for 2 years. I like the fact it can log so many parameters at once. The Logworks software that comes with it is good too. No issues here so far.

With that said, the double O2 sensor kit is worth the cost to make sure your AFR is consistent between both banks.

I am both a Innovate and Racepak dealer. The Innovate pieces while a great value, frequently have enough "quirky" issues that frustrate racers.

90% of the time I recommend a Racepak system to stock & SS racers because they cant afford to miss runs or spend time working on the O2 system.

Street-strip guys, old muscle cars, some bracket cars, hot rods - the Innovate is great.

I just recently acquired an LM1 along with the LMA3 module. At this point I just have the LM1 installed and will try it for the first time next weekend. I've recorded some "practice" logs in the garage and it seems straight forward in regards to logging sessions. I'm looking forward to the added data provided by the LMA3. I believe it gives RPM, HEAD TEMP, ACCELERATION, VACUUM, & DUTY CYCLE. I'm curious, is the LMA3 legal for stock during a race? I assume so since the LM1 is OK?
