Has anybody heard anything about when and if southwestern int,back to old name of Tucson Dragway, will reopen and if it will go back to NHRA?

I heard it will be back up October 1st. As far as NHRA, there's just rumors as far as I know. The 10/1 date seems pretty official.

Per the sources Gary Hansen mentioned, and Facebook, Tucson Dragway has replaced S.I.R. as the name of the facility. However, there's no mention of the sanctioning body....
