I am looking for recomendations on someone thats good at building these carbs a for stock elem engine. currently building a 85 Camaro with the 305 CID. Dean Oliver has came highly recomended but I cant seem to get in touch with him. any other recomendations on a good Quadrajet guy? also I have been told that you are no longer required to run the exact carb number as long as it has the same venturie size, and by the same manufactor. any input on this subject would be of great help as well. thanks in advance.

Re: Quadrajet Specialist??
I rely on Mike McDonald of McDonald Q-Jets for all of my Quadrajet needs. He builds a very nice looking piece that is dependable/reliable, and consistent. He has a large customer base in both stock, and super stock, and has a great personality along with great customer support. He is located in Princeton, IN, and can be reached @ (812)677-1097. And I (Kevin Wells),can be reached @ (502)316-4667 if I can answer any questions.
