Q-jet adapter/spacer for the Super 10
The Super 10 engine suffered major damage when #3 intake valve broke. While it is down I am looking at options.
One thing I want to test is a Q-jet. I have the Victor E intake so what adapter/spacer do I need. Also, what is usually done about fitment, position, blending, etc? Thanks, |

Just a question relating to your mention of a Victor E manifold. What is the displacement of your engine? I ask because I tried an "E" on a 327/250 combination (1.72/1.50 with a 4GC) and it was too "big" (engine made less power than with a "Jr"). Maybe you're using the 327/275 combination and in that application, it works.

The engine is [was] a 1966 Corvette combination, 327/300/294 with Quick Fuel VS585R Holley style carb.
