Jim Farnum, who recently took over Heartland Park Topeka, said, "We have a great lineup of events planned for racers, car show participants, and all automotive enthusiasts for the 2016 season. We are doing a lot of updates to the facility, and know that the Chevy, Ford, and Mopar fans will like what they see."

They are making plans but, as of today, no deal for the track has been finalized.

Its confusing! Two different buyers with misleading statements from the journalist. It could have been written a hell of a lot clearer! Poor journalism in my opinion for those not aware of all of the players involved!

Read the comments from people responding to CJonline. They are confused as well and should be more up to speed on the local news than us.
