A Huge Way to Go to Jim Hughes at Tucson
 

I am very happy that Jim Hughes is now the operator of the Tucson , Arizona Track. . I have always said to run a Drag strip a person has to be a Businessman and a Racer to understand the needs of Racers
. Jim is both .

One of the Great services at Tucson was when Dave Danish was running the Tucson track you could pre enter the race and get a reserved pit space regardless of when you showed up . He also always had your name on the pit space as well as special front row pit spaces for each past year Points champion with a name sign by their pits it was really cool .There are no bad pit spaces at Tucson so Jim Hughes will do great owning the track I am predicating the track will be a huge success and will support it the best way I can. If only he would get a Points race with two points race ,Thursday, Friday and Sat, Sunday :)

Don , your dead on.... The Pacific National Opener is just the beginning, Jim will have the car counts raising at team events and all other races in between.... Rich Lash has a 7 race Super Comp series with 3 or 4 in Tucson , ADRA has 6 of there 10 points races in Tucson... Something Tells me Arizona Super Street Assoc. will change some of there races too....:D
