I heard from a credible source last Friday about a new track west of Cincinnati.

True or False ?

Let me check on this, i have a friend that lives in Hamilton that i stay with at times when i'm heading south.
Only track i have known about trying to get built was Mansfield and its not even good for sand drags as of yet.

Let you know when i find out.

Pro Mod racer Steve Engel is building a new 1/4 mile track on the Northwest side of Cincinnati. It is located halfway between Edgewater and Tri-State, which are about 15 miles apart along the Great Miami River. Steve has all the permits and EPA stuff done, and was featured on the local news recently.

There was a lot of talk about Steve buying Edgewater from Dick Weinle over the last 2 years, I guess that fell through and the new track is underway. This could be good news for Sportsman racers, as it should be a 1st class facility. Maybe bad news for either EW or TS bracket programs.
