Drag Racing/Street Racing
I was sitting here web surfing and "listening" to Jeopardy on TV and was shocked, but in a good way, at one of the questions. While I don't remember the exact wording, but it went roughly something like this:
Sanctioned competition between two cars with a variety of rules and safety regs is called drag racing. Two cars racing on public roads is usually called? Answer: "Street Racing". I don't recall what category it was under or if the word "illegal" was used.. :( Three cheers for the producers of Jeopardy! |
Re: Drag Racing/Street Racing

Alex: "Yes, Tom Compton" Tom Compton: " Drag racing, Alex." Alex: "No, I'm sorry." Buzz, buzz !!! Alex: "Peter Clifford, your answer." Peter Clifford: "Drag Racing". Alex: "No, sorry Peter, that's the same answer Tom gave." Buzz, buzz !! Alex: " What say you Donald." Donald Trump: "Illegal Street Racing." Alex: " Correct, you are the Jeopardy champion !!! " |
