Prayers for Al Mark
It is with a heavy heart that I must say God has taken our good friend Al Mark. After a long battle with cancer that Al was determined to beat and was recently given the news he was free of the terrible decease a unforseable accident took Al's life. Please say a prayer for Al and his wife Shirley . I'll post the arrangements as they become available. God bless you Al you'll be missed.

I spoke to Al often , and he recently gave me the news that he was winning his fight with cancer , and to have an unfortunate accident take his life is so sad and unbelievable . Godspeed my friend. and I wish that Shirley, and the rest of the family the can find the strength to get thru this tragedy. we have lost too many great people in the racing community recently.

Re: Prayers for Al Mark
So sorry to hear this. Thoughts and prayers to the entire Mark family. I asked him at this years Allstars banquet what he liked more: Competing with friends and racers in the Allstars and D-1 or as a professional skeet competitor......He reflected and said the money was better in skeet and he got to do it with his wife. The perfect answer from a very good man.

Re: Prayers for Al Mark
I am truly at a loss for words, Al was always there as a friend and person that could always be counted on through thick and thin. We talked a lot during our cancer treatments and he always lifted me up and I hope I did the same during his battle. So sad to beat the odds and have this happen. God Bless you Al, RIP. May strength be with you Shirley, our prayers are with you and Al at this very unforeseen and very unfortunate time.
