Troy Pourciau has cancer
 

I’m Troy Pourciau’s daughter, Haven. I’m sure some of you know who Troy is. For those who don’t – he lives in Louisiana and he was recently diagnosed with bone cancer. Troy fought cancer back in 2012 and unfortunately it has spread into his bones; more specifically his ribs. Although this cancer is not curable, it is treatable! There are a couple treatment options for Troy, especially since he is currently in a lot of pain and distress. However, as many of you know, all types of cancer treatments are extremely pricey. Also, Troy has 3 children that he loves and would do absolutely anything for. We have created a GoFundMe account in an effort to support him... If you are able to help in any way, please do so!

Prayers and well wishes for all of you. I know this is a difficult time, but hang in there. I know what you are going through, my wife also has bone cancer, but is doing well currently. Each day is a blessing. I hope Troy's continued journey is as pain free as possible. God bless all of you.

Hello fellow racers.

WANTED TO SAY THANK YOU FOR THE DONATIONS, CARDS, KIND WORDS, PERSONAL VISITS, PHONE CALLS, & TEXTS.

I am feeling better after 10 rounds of radiation. On Monday Aug. 1st I will be going in to be re-evaluated to see what is further needed to take care of the cancer in my ribs. My car is being painted, and should be race ready in about 2 weeks. Then it will be BEAST MODE on the track.

Just wanted to update Troy's fellow class racer friends. Troy passed away from cancer on February 15, 2017. Thanks to all of you who donated and sent support our way! Please keep our family in your prayers :)

We are very sorry to hear this news.
My son and I value the little time we did
get to spend with Troy We talked about our
Cancers and I hope I was able to give him a little
encouragement.
