Battery Question
I have two batteries in my car. After a run one is run way down and the the other one is still fully charged. Same battery run down everytime. Checked the connections on both and cleaned connecters at the cut off switch at the back of the car. Any ideas on this one. Thanks.

Re: Battery Question
Yeah, one of them is junk.
Don't forget the ground circuits!!!! Always replace batteries that will be paralleled for use in date matched pairs for best results. Manufacturer date codes are "stamped" into the battery case. The Optima Yellow top is a good choice for no charging system, or if you can fit them, use the Group 31 truck batteries, they hold up to vibration much better than a regular automotive battery, and have great reserve capacity, which is critical to operation without an alternator. |

The last 3 sets of red tops I bought were junk.
