Left Aiken Tuesday, got to Charlotte and decided to stay in campground for a week and use their electricity. Should probably be #1 in line but no idea where line will be and leaving campground next Wed morn. Pro Mod and Pro Stock cars testing today. Mid 6:60s @ 209+. First trip here so visiting nascar museums and tourist stuff. Any recommendations? Mike McMahan 2543 H/SA

Hendrick Motor Sports is just a block away to the south of you, they have tours.
Staging is behind the oval track- but dirty and sometimes muddy too .
I usually drive right in about 1pm on Wed.

Carolina class racers are having a combo race Saturday and Sunday at Fayetteville motorsports park which is about 2 hours from you .

Stay across from track on corner. 1/2 the price of camp ground in front of track

Sorry I don't have any results, I went Saturday and made 2 passes and left. There appeared to be a good car count but I had some things I needed to take care of and didn't stay for eliminations.
