Piedmont Dragway Combo
 

August 12th we will be hosting a Stock SS combo at Piedmont Dragway. This will be the day after the Roxboro Combo. For racers interetested in driving from Roxboro to Piedmont Saturday night I will have the gates open until Midnight Saturday night which should give everyone enough time to get from one track to the other if they need to.

Car and driver 75.00

Purse is guaranteed $1,000 to win

100 Semi's

Anything over 22 cars will be 100% payback so it can only go up not down.

If you can make please come and race with us that day. I will be at Roxboro with my son running his Jr Dragster and Alan may be driving my stocker. Hope to see all of you there.

If anyone needs directions or would like to follow me back to Piedmont from Roxboro just let me know.

Thanks for putting this deal on, Herb. I'm going to be at the national event in Epping, NH that weekend, but if I suck bad enough up there and get sent packing early, I'll try to make it! :)

What time do the gates open? How many time trials? Will it be run the car beside you in lanes or draw cards? I'm interested, now if only I can find the money in the drag race budget. I need to be a better driver and achieve a sponsor.

I would love to make it down, but that is moving weekend for us... You gonna do another one later this fall Herb? Next one I would be able to make would be after the Presidents Cup.

Gates open at 10am Sunday I hope everyone will be coming from Roxboro the night before. At Piedmont left lane will be 3 right lane will be 4. Odd at Piedmont is always the right lane, even being the left. If it goes single file Jimmy Rountree will flip the coin to determine lane choice.

i love me some piedmont herb!!!! last time i was there i broke the tranny 3 times but i will be there ready to try it again on sunday.... i guess running the track up there now is making it harder for you to run the races with us but your son sure is kicking tail in the juniors at rox.. well we"ll see you at roxboro and piedmont

I will be at Roxboro with my car on Saturday night and Alan Farmer will be driving it on Sunday at Piedmont. Alan will be running the car at Jackson, Budds Creek and Rockingham if I can get this new motor straightened out. The only reason I havent been supporting it was because of breakage. After 900 runs I should have replaced the oil pump pickup.
