Header Size 396/375
Going to be building my headers for the new engine, would like to only have to do it once, what is the general consensus of an appropriate primary tube size for these animals?

Stahl by ACP, 1-7/8" to 2" step. You can spend more, but you won't find a better value.

Re: Header Size 396/375
PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE!!!! Search this forum right here. A while back, Calvin and I touched on this very subject. There is so much more than just the size. The step lengths, the angle of the tube off the top of the radius of the exhaust port, the radius of the tubes you use, the overall lengths, collector size and length. Merge angle and degree make a huge difference on these as well.
Do some homework, it will pay off better than you can imagine. To get the most out of this combination, dont use an old design....totally proven... Chassis1 |
