Attention all Stock and Super Stock Racers
 

As some of you might have noticed NMCA East has added a Championship Class for 2017 for Stock/Super Stock with thier own rules structure.
It came to my attention that NMCA West did not add this class and I was really wondering why. I contacted NMCA West and was told by Rollie Miller that due too schedule conflicts and various other reasons they decided it would not be a good business decision to have it added to the West Coast. I was very perplexed as to how the East thought it would be a good decision but the West decided it wouldn't so I exchanged emails with Rollie a few times and he is now Open to the Idea of doing a S/SS shootout to see what kind of support they can get of S/SS cars before making changes to allow this class to be added for a Championship in 2018.
If any of you would be interested in having this on the West Rollie is looking to get a idea of how many would be interested. Keep in mind that all of the NMCA West events are held in Fontana at this point. I was strictly looking to give S/SS cars on the West another option to race and not trying to compete with other Associations or events that might feel this would impact thier events and this is just a informational post at this time for Rollie to see if interest is there with this option. So post up your name , car number and class and I will share this information with Rollie.

Bob - I shot an email to him letting him know I'm in. I'll do my best to bring out the rest of the usual suspects too.....even the Pontiac guys. ☺️

Bump - I received a reply from Rollie as well. He's trying to guage the interest level from S/SS racers. Given the amount of griping about NHRA that goes on in this website I'm a little surprised nobody else has chimed in here. How about it guys & gals - send him an email and let him know of your interest in having another series of races to attend.

Thanks Carl , I've been a little suprised myself about the lack of intrest but not completely due to the amount of racers who say one thing but do another lol.
