Geared Head Engine Stand
 

I was getting tired of trying to rotate my engine while building it on my engine stand . So I did a little investigation on who makes or sells , geared head engine stands . There is certainly a wide range of prices for nearly identical stands . I ended up buying a engine stand from Jegs . They had the best price and free shipping . It came in in two days , and it went together without modifying anything . I did have to grease the wheels , and the gears up in the head . I am very pleased , and recommend this stand. I have the same one and it works great. Get a small grease gun and keep the gears greased. I also have a test stand to break engines in. It is a lot easier to solve problems before you put the engine in your car.
