Wideband with slip on collectors

Should one seal one's collectors when installing wideband sensor?
If so, is silicon adequate?

Re: Wideband with slip on collectors

Nope. Under full throttle or very heavy load (burnout) the air flow reversion will stop and you will get valid readings (assuming open exhaust as is so typical with Stockers). Up to that point, or if on a 2-Step, ignore what you see and do not allow closed loop feedback at those points either.
