Engine builder recommendation

I am looking for a reputable engine builder to build a 305 stocker motor. Prefer in GA, SC, or North FL. Thanks in advance. Jason

Jeff Warren at Warren Engines in Clinton, NC does very good work and would be worth your time to talk to him. I'm in Illinois and don't think twice about sending my motors to him.

From where you are located it wouldn't be that far to Warren Engines. Great people and have tons of experience with SBC motors.

You might want to try one built in your backyard. It really feels good when the engine comes to life. The draw back to a home built engine is that you are never satisfied with its performance, and you know the next one will be better.

I would contact Bruce Parsons. I don't believe that anyone is better with small block Chevies. He's also good with Pontiacs as many of us can attest to.
