intake port CC ?

what is the relationship between intake runner CC and engine cubic inch?
I assume that projected rpm, cam and compression are also involved.

Although a broad question, yes, intake runner size has an influence on the projected performance of the engine.

This is the Stock & Super Stock section. We have no choice but to use the NHRA spec for our particular engine.

Re: intake port CC ?

Pick the head that has the largest cross sectional (CSA) area for the cubic inch you are running.. CC's can trick you because a long narrow port can have a small CSA and another port with the same CC can be short with a bigger CSA. The long narrow port will usually have high velocity that makes low end TQ & limits RPM, esp if they are small for the Cu in of the engine.
