Same deal with the gnats last time I was there I went to dollar general asked them what to use they suggested dryer sheets rub them on your skin and keep a few in your pockets it actually worked.

Well today was test and tune and I sure hope they somehow get the track ready to race by tomorrow . Larry spun 3 out of 4 runs today. Went from 1.32 60’ to 1.45. Anybody who runs the Gamblers race tonight is certainly taking a Gamble!!

I think we need an Angie's list for any track operated test and tune.
The track starting line crew was underwhelming, the starter had an easy chair to sit in and guess what did not receive any attention, you guessed it, the track. From observation it appeared the track starting line crew were looking for two things, quitting time and payday, nothing else seemed to motivate them. Granted most of the cars were some type of index cars so track prep was not paramount. The sign did say test and tune, so being a naive stocker guy I was looking for some information to improve my lack of driving skills, The one thing I did find out is that I do not have enough tuneability in my car. I could not get it to hook at all, it would move 6'' then blow the tires off. My review for Angie's list is: what a waste of time and money!

The track owners need to realize we as racers expect a track hook by being properly prepared, if it's not prepared you screwed us. I trust the NHRA crew can make a silk purse out of a sow's ear tomorrow! Right now I feel like the guy in "Deliverance",the famous line "squeal like a pig"

Clearly your expectations have not been met, and rightfully so. Test and tune? Provide the canvas!

Some of the local racers are high gear only. Wouldn't spin in a sand pile.
